Here is my submission. I will warn you though, the story is vaguely ..... I know some of you on here are super sensitive to vague depictions of human sexuality so you may also want to abstain from visiting.

Thanks, STW--been off-line for a few days, appreciate the PM nudge and appreciate all the votes of confidence.

Hmmm...not sure how I feel about entering. Though I'd love to share my story with people who aren't familiar, I also don't feel it's fair to join as I feel like I've already received a very special thanks from Ducati for my adventure already. Someone else really deserves to experience the warmth and hospitality of Ducati.

Regardless, you need to share yours. Your story is really really cool, and more people should know about it outside of just these boards.

More people need to take a break from everyday life and go out of their comfort zone and have their own adventure. I need to soon, just not sure how without losing my job....

Wow looks like i did, I think even once your a semi finalist the person with the most likes wins the grand prize

nothing special here, I wanted something really special to commute with. That is all. I think I almost achieved my intent, but a little voice inside of me is wondering if I can get something even more special to commute with reliably. YMMV

Ok, I decided to not make a submission would be failure, so here's mine:

Not long ago I lived a life where success demanded sacrificing what was most important. I worked hard, receiving only what I expected in return. It was a dreary litany, a world without surprise. I was not happy. I wondered if perhaps the driving force behind living fully was neither prudence nor reason, but passion. It was a theory with enough potential to warrant experiment, so I hit the reset button on my life, the starter button on my 1199 S and set out on an open-ended journey across North America.

What did I learn? The road to enlightenment isn't paved with sensible decisions. A sequence of carefully planned events will never lead to bliss. To discover what we don't know, to visit places we could never imagine, to meet the people we should meet and to understand what we're fully capable of demands following the exigencies of the heart. Only one force has the power to change life: Passion.

Act on desire. Pursue your appetites. Have courage. Take risks. #passionepanigale
