Today the diet is put on hold while I wait for parts. As much fun as the Hyper is its all her today. Can't friggin wait. Not sure how much weight she actually lost but it is significant. Looks so much better with proper black titanium hardware imho.

Following in Geckos footsteps. This could get expensive. Looking good. What's the next step?

That's a good question. Not sure what else I can do unless I go internal or spend big dollars on custom parts. Until the warranty is up I'm not doing internal mods. Most of the hardware that I could get to and find a replacement for is ti now. Most of the black plastic is carbon now. Not sure how much less unsprung and rotating weight there is but the bike feels different. The tight twisty section of the mountain today I felt like I could carry more speed. I'd imagine less gyro affect with the carbon rotors and wheels. Felt much quicker and easier to change direction. Huge grin on my face.

I'm sure those wheels and rotors made a big difference. Carbon wheels are probably best bag for the buck performance wise.
Would be nice if they made gold carbon wheels for our bikes :D

It does look good with the black Ti on the fairings and carbon fiber...

Regarding the wheels, they will make them any color you wish to get you to put a set on your bike.

Funny you say that. I thought about how to bring the gold back. Might try a gold pinstripe but I'm thinking red would look better since the buttons on the rotors are red.

I've seen on some automotive carbon parts different colors to the carbon weave. Gold and silver are ones I've seen.

Problem with painting is you don't see the weave anymore.

Never really been a fan of colored carbon weave. I'm waiting for a black hub to show up but now I'm thinking red since the wheels and rotors have red accents. I'm usually against any colors on the drivetrain, but it might not be too bad. Although with the gold chain it might look horrible.

I really wish I would have went with black rearsets and anodized the brackets black along with the other parts I anodized black. Not really feeling the silver. Probably end up selling them and trying again. My Hyper has black rearsets and I really like that look.
