Shifter Bolt Issue

Hey has anyone else have issue with the bolt that goes through the shifter, ever since i took it off it never went back on the same, either was to tight didnt shift and to loose risk of losing it, long story short i did end up losing it mid blast on the Express way. Going to order a new one (probably use red lock tight this time around) but am i suppose to keep a spare in the trunk? ridiculous these bolts can be lost so easily.

Has anyone else use red locktight on it?

other suggestions?

Loctite is a ducati's best friend. I loctite everything I dont need to remove regularly with either red high strength or blue low strength

How can it get too tight that it won’t shift?

yea bro had it all there's like 3 pieces to that bolt assembly based off the service manual (figure 9,8 and 7), nothing was missing

How free are the rod end bearings? these might need a free up with WD40 and a regrease
