Hi Guys,
Yesterday I re valved my rear shock, modifing the high speeds valve shims.
To modify the high speed valve it's necessary to remove the external compression adjustment.
My intention was to give a softer response of rear shock on road use, specialy when I ride on imperfect road (I have too the rear link in "P" position).
In my opinion the response in compression was too hard.
Therefore I reduced the numbers of shims from 4 to 1 (the first is 0,2 mm thikness, the others are 0,1 mm).
Now I like the new response.

Did you take some pictures? Would be a great tutorial...

Really no, it no easy to take photo in these conditions. If you like you can follow the instructions for a Sachs shock absorber of an Husqvarna Enduro sent to you in MP (too large).
The construction philosophy is the same and the same are the informations you need.
The main difference is that in the Panigale shock absorber there isn't the external high damping speed adjustment. For this reason you must open the compression adjustment to reduce the valve shims.
It isn't necessary to remove the main spring but only to open the compression adjustement after to have discharged the Nitrogen.

first action: discharged the nitrogen (then you can use dry air at 10 bar)
second: open the compression adjustment and then remove with hand the high damping speed valve shim
Third: disassemble the valve shims and remove the 3 largest shims, leaving only one.
