I’ve been using ASV levers my entire life on all my dirt bikes but have more recently switched to ARC - long story short, both guys used to be partners at ASV and one split off and created ARC (local company supported by my KTM dealer).

Anyhow, I’m looking for a good set. Not sure if I just want a short clutch or both. I’ve seen a few other companies mentioned (CNC, Pazzo, etc.) but wanted to get some info from anyone who has had a good/bad experience with shorty lever brands. Let me know what you like!

I like the crg rc2 but now using the carbon on clutch side but they dont have one for the brembo race brake master

I like asv for dirt bikes but I’ve got to say that the one thing I dislike about most aftermarket levers is their shape. I’ve found the billet levers generally are shaped so that the lever doesn’t really slide under your fingers( if that makes sense). When I am releasing the brake I like to gradually release the lever by letting it slide under my fingers and most billet levers don’t slide like the oe Brembo levers do, so I generally prefer to stick with those.

I like the shorty ASV levers that I have on my Duc 1299, BMW S1000R and BMW S1000RR. I used to have the CNC Racing shorty foldable levers on my ducati 1299. I would recommend those as well. They have the 1-6 clicking system so you can always figure out what position you were at. The ASV have the wheels. It is difficult to figure out what position you were in if someone turned the dials. But if you adjusted the dials to how you like them they are more accurate than the ones you click from 1-6. I also used to have the Gilles tooling adjustable levers on my BMW S1000RR and S1000R. My only complaint was that they didnt come in shorty levers. So in the end I sold the CNC shorty folding levers, sold the gilles tooling levers on both bmws and went with ASV C5 shorty lever on all bikes. And installed the gilles tooling brake and clutch lever guards on all 3 bikes.

I do love the “slide” of the stock levers. I think the rounded platform gives that sensation. This is why I’m only thinking of getting a clutch lever, since I really only use it to engage first gear now...the carbon lever looks to be most feel freindly. I do agree that my ASV levers tended to have more of a hard snapping point of action due to their shape/orientation. This is why I loved my ARC levers - they are made of a high tensile plastic material that slides under your fingers, giving you more of an OE feel.
