Signed by the GOAT~would you still wear?

This past Indy GP I somehow found myself on pit lane, with no credentials lol. Well I sure took advantage of it, I met some of the greats including Caporossi :).

My question is, would you still wear a helmet/gear that has been signed by one of the GOATS?

I do, I had the pleasure of having Rossi sign my AGV Turtle and since then it's seen a track day and is still my daily helmet.
Back on '12 I also had Rossi sign my seat cowl of my Pani. That stays in the house except for special occasions:).
 
Would never put it on my head or take it outside again. In fact, might even get that coated so it never fades.

I thought about getting it coated and yes I agree with all the above....especially if he makes 10 Championship this season....adds a little value :).

Ugh, you guys getting me depressed lol
 
Hell to the nah.. That would be clear coated and in a case in the house.. I wouldnt even touch it.
 
Breakdown and buy a new one. Retire the Turtle.
 
Well I'm going against the grain...I'd wear the fuggin thing, you paid good money for it and it really only means something to you.
 
I would not want the sigs on my gear. They are not my gig.


If I did want them I could get them, but if so I would wear that crap out.
 
im far from a rossi fan but if i met the guy and he signed something it would be framed or encased in glass.
 
I love Rossi and I think his spirit is to use the helmet as you'd like. Unless you're a $$$ hound, I'd use it and have it as a conversation piece. Call me crazy, but I also drag race my fully restored 69 Chevelle SS when everyone tells me not to drive it. They were meant to be used like they were created to be used :D IMHO
