Small leak from evap lower hose?

I went on a short ride yesterday (about 30 minutes) and had a blast! Parked the bike, went to sleep, and woke up to a little puddle on the garage floor. I took the fairings off because it was dripping off of the lower front plastic just behind the radiator. Traced the leak back to my lower hose on the EVAP container. It smells, feels, looks like oil that has been run through the canister. I’m assuming this happens when the oil is overfilled? I checked my sight glass and it looks to be completely full...

Also, while inspecting - I found a coolant leak from the left side that looks like it’s coming out of the weep hole. Pictures are attached. I looked high and low, but nothing else had any residue. I’m assuming the weep hole is what I have circled in red?

The bike was just serviced so I’m assuming both Copland and oil were overfilled...but who knows

That happened to me after spirited rides which the front wheel off the ground a little and sometimes when i filled the tank.

completely normal

had the dealer remove evap canister and no more problems

Yep, tank was full as well. Wasn’t too concerned. I’ll probably remove canister as soon as I get a plug for the vacuum line. My plated KTM had a similar setup. Causes more trouble than benefits in my opinion. The state of CA will tell you otherwise...

Now as for all that beautiful pink Ducati coolant probably isn’t “completely normal”

my 1299 spends a lot of time in the hands of my dealer’s service department but I probably have a disorder

... my triumph Daytona 675 has 15k and has never had a single problem in 6 years

Yeah that was a little more concerning to me. It wasn’t a ton (pictures make it seem like it was a good amount but they’re ultra close shots) but it was most definitely coming out of that weep hole.

At first I was kinda wishing it was just a loose hose clamp but there are no signs of fluid anywhere else.

I think I'm just going to order a new water pump. It doesn't seem too difficult to replace - cover off, pump gear assembly out, then pump comes out last. I think the correct part is $375. My bike is not under warranty and it seems as though Ducati says its normal for a small amount to leak - this probably should have been a recall. That being said, i'd rather not have any leak due to a bad seal or shaft failure. I'll call the dealer today and see what they say.

These are the tough parts about buying a super low miles bike that was manufactured half a decade ago

I have the option to purchase an extended warranty through Ducati, but I’m not sure if the cost justifies the benefits...if any

Ur gonna go through and modify or “upgrade” the pieces as time goes on. What is the cost and what does it cover?
