Looking good. So cool to see green around a racetrack. We just have desert out here in socal.

Thanks, and yes, we are lucky up here (when the weather is nice). The Ridge is a beautiful facility...on clear days Mt. Rainier looms in the distance too.

Great track to ride; tale whatever opportunity you can to ride it. I believe it's considered the best in the NW.

Hey man, I was there on Sunday as well. I was part of the carnage after lunch when that guy's R1 blew up at the end of the straight.

I think I was the 3rd bike behind him, saw the blue smoke and the flags come out. Started breaking and tipping into T1 when I lost the rear completely on the oil. By the time I stood up in the grass there were 5-6 other bikes and riders scattered around. Total armageddon!

I think we're all OK except the guy who blew up his engine, he was probably going 150-160 when it happened, and he did not get up. Ambulance took him away, but he was conscious.

It was on my 1299 with freshly painted fairings too :(

Before and after pics. The left side was actually worse, not sure why I didn't take a pic of it. I had a T-rex slider on the left side, woodcraft rearsets, R&G steering stops, and lightech/speedymoto axle sliders.

For those curious, the bike crashed extremely well, and I was probably going 80-100mph. The sliders did a fantastic job, no damage to the tank or any hard parts except the left clip on broke off completely. The woodcraft rearsets are TANKS. FYI, since there was another thread about it - I broke BOTH steering stops, even with the R&G steering stops installed correctly. That'll be the only spendy fix besides bodywork...

My gear held up well too, dainese axial pro boots, held gloves, SR1 helmet.

Bummer man, that sucks!!! But glad to hear everyone came out OK.

It's sheer luck that I wasn't involved myself...I decided to skip that session to have lunch and relax for a bit and that's when it all went down. I packed it up and went home for the day after that.

Really sorry to hear about your bike....hope it gets fixed soon.
