Sound damping and heat shield on new exhaust

I transferred mine when I had the full exhaust installed (if you do be very careful with the rings or cut the & purchase spares). I also have a spare body kit and didn't add the sound pieces to that and don't really notice a difference. On the heat shielding I just copied from the stock pieces or lined them up as they were cut to fit and you can get a good idea of where.

Thanks for the advise. Do you know if those sound damping material also serve the heat resistance purpose as well ?

Yes it does have heat tape on the backside.

All I can say is that I have a spare bodywork without the pads and I have had no issues.

Completed the right side. Gonna work on translogic quick shift later will put the whole thing back on.
I think Ducati OEM increased heat shield (left hand side) volume from their original installation manual
