lol - there was a clever guy locally who got about 43 for his w full exhaust before they announced the 22 SP

same dealer has one of those green diavels sitting... been sitting for months

Next Ducati will go full retard like Ferrari and offer a service whereas the owner pays thousands to certify the car they bought from Ferrari is actually a Ferrari.

Without this turning into a brand dogpile, if someone gets a mad price for their bike then good for them. We may look down on the posers who buy the brand because they want to put on their insta, they are a great source of parts and cheap bikes. I want the value to stay up, we didnt buy gixxers for a reason even though for 90% of Panigale owners its probably a better bike, cheaper, easier to ride and as at least as fast if your last name isnt Pirro

I know a guy who bought used 1199SL and he didn’t do 1 mile on it parked in he’s living room and he thinks selling this bike one day he became millionaire

I just bought it over ask for 299,999. I feel violated but it's a Ducati so it's ok. I know it will appreciate in time. Meanwhile I will drool over it and not ride it.marble coffee
Looks good next to my marble coffee table!!!

depends on the buyer I guess. if someone needs a diesel work truck so that they can finish a big project, they don't really care as long as it gets the job done

Yup.
He bought it as a toy. Theres just not many low mileage diesels out there. Mine was lifted, tuned, geared etc.

I bought a new one

I saw a dude trying to sell his Lambo edition Diavel for in excess of 90k. Pure delusion. Ducati is really capitalizing on the idiots out there, scooping up "special edition" bikes that are parts bin specials with different paint thinking they'll actually be a collector's item and/or appreciate in value.

I only bought mine because it came into the dealer with 600 miles on it as I was there test riding some bikes deciding between a V4R and a V4SP they had in there. I was leaning forward the SP that had a more useful power band for me as a newer sport bike rider.

In rolls this bike that some collector had bought, riden a few times, then brought it back, he had bought a Superleggera at the same time as my Anniversario, one for him and one for his son to ride.

Because it had 600 miles on it I got it for the same price as the V4R they had in there, and it was spec’d a bit better than the SP with a more aggressive map on it.

So I got it for the same price as an R….then I didn’t have any concerns about modifying everything on the bike including that numbered triple tree haha.

I will keep all the original parts though, partly because I do think I’ll get a few more bucks out of it than a V4S but not much, but mostly because I may take all the upgraded parts off this bike and switch them to a dedicated track bike at some point
