Just replace the line .Run it on the outside of the front guard to stop future issues

I soldered mine and have been running like that for about a year now with no issues so far. Like Wilkson mentioned, run it on the outside of the front guard.

Yep, most racing Panis I've seen have the wire rerouted above the front fender. Splicing the wire works well if you do it properly.
It also gives you a chance to put a shrink tube around the wire for additional mechanical protection.
Otherwise you can buy a new Bosch-sensor on Ebay, its four times cheaper than the OEM one from Ducati, and exactly the same.
