Is there anything we can do about this? When I'm doing 100, I want it to read 100, and not 105. Likewise, 120 actual speed will read 126 and so on.

Pg 36 of the manual states

"The insturment panel receives information about the actual vehicle speed (calculated in Kmh) and displays the value increased by 5% and converted in the set unit of measurement (kmph or mph)."

I know most cars read a couple of % higher but isn't 5% getting a bit out there?

Back in the day (before the internet) we had to buy magazines to get motorcycle reviews.
A bike's speedometer error was always listed in the bike's specs right next to engine size, tire sizes and everything else.
Very normal. Always has been.

Almost all bikes do it. Thats why you hear everyone saying "indicated". I think its to counter tire wear as well. .. .

Almost like flying planes - "indicated" air speed vs actual. .. . :)
