Has anyone tried one of these? The mount system is intriguing. Seems strong and centered.

I was looking for an expanding bolt Ram ball holder for the steer tube but, as I have discovered, the small entrance hole and large ID steer tube makes this unworkable until Ram solves it. There is a fellow on YouTube who used an expanding wingnut to MacGuyver a solution. Clever, but I’m looking at alternatives first.
Thoughts? Thanks.

Never used that.

I use one of these with a Ram arm and quadlock mount.... Desmoworld Navi / Cam Mounting Hub EVO-II

I can say with all certainty, it stayed attached during a somersault and barrel roll on my V4S

Thanks. Is yours a 2020? The impression I’ve developed is that the steering tube and cap assembly on the 2020 may be different. Of course, I don’t know for certain so your insights are appreciated. Not many around here to compare.

The one you suggest looks robust, functional, and aesthetically appealing.

Yeah, 2020

I am ok I guess... two lanes of traffic jammed on their brakes at a yellow light and I had nowhere to go... Hit a curb at ~30mph. Bent the rim enough to jam it into the calipers and flip it end over end, then it did a roll once it hit the ground.

All in all I am well, bruised, but nothing broken other than my pride.

Just found out today they are writing it off. 21.8k in damage before even tearing it down. Just need to work out what the plan is for the accessories I put on it. I have 5k in coverage for accessories, so hopefully that comes to me.

I have a GSX-R1000R, so may just pick up a SF V4S once this is over with.
