I'm pretty sure it's 8"
Does anyone know the free spring length of the stock Ohlins spring that comes on the R?
Thanks all. I was trying to figure out if there was some setting I could use to get a performance while I wait for a replacement spring with a better spring rate. Turns out I'm SOOL.
What spring rate you going for ?
105 and I ordered a 110Nm as well. Unfortunately, the Paniagle, like most bikes are sprung for 175lb Italians or Japanese school girls, (pick your choice). I'm 200 lbs w/o gear, (I'm on a diet).
Just need to make the rear work until mid January. Unfortunately, I will have 3 track days between now and then, so I will only be able to get it to work okay. Which the means I can only set the front to help th back.
Basically until I get the right spring rate I'm a dog chasing my tail, or rear in this case.
I actually think you are going too high in the spring rate . These bikes like a lighter rear spring .
I am about the same weight . I am using a 95 rear and a 1 in one leg and a 1.1 in the other .
At most I would go to a 100 in the rear
That's cool. You went up to a 1.1 in one fork. Did you revalve the forks as well?
175lb ... Japanese school girls
I agree with Wilky. I am 195 and run a .85/.90 rear and 1.1 fronts. Bike hates stiff rear. Well, unless you love no squat and all spin. Fun for a while until you keep playing catch up...
