I was thinking of doing a sprocket change to move the power band down a bit.

I did the 14 tooth front sprocket change and it really helped the bike for me.

For the panigale what are the advantages/ disadvantages to doing a 14 tooth front sprocket vs. a 41 tooth rear sprocket?

thanks!

changing front or rear has same effect overall - there is a web site that allows you to figure out what differences the gearing makes.....sorry i can't locate it right now, but you should be able to google it

14T in front: larger wheelbase, as where higher gearing in the rear leads to a shorter wheelbase
standard:
15/39=0.385
14T front:
14/39=0.359
41T rear:
15/41=0.365

14T front gives you the lowest ratio and the most beast mode ;) but with the longer wheelbase, less wheelie tendency (not really, through the ratio), and theoretically worse steering.

i have it and i love it.
