Suggestions on what I should do would be greatly appreciated. 2015 1299 base with no upgrades has 300 miles on the clock and it has stalled on me a few times. first two times were within the first week of ownership (under 25 miles were on the bike at that point). Latest stall was yesterday. They have all occurred at idle, although is appears to happen after I back off the throttle after spirited run. Yesterday I came from around 5k RPM to an abrupt stop, and the bike stalled. Started right back up for me without an issue. Once again, it seems if I'm braking hard and coming to a stop, the bike dies out at idle. I'll probably wait until my service at 600 miles, but just wondering what your thoughts are. Thanks in advance for your help/insight as I'm not too familiar with Ducati just yet.

stock fueling map has a couple holes in it at low RPM, most likely to meet emissions. I haven't experienced a stall after remapping, although I think I'm going to go over the 1500-2500rpm range again and add a touch more fueling at 0-20% throttle, just to be sure.

I had a couple harrowing low-speed stalls when my bike was new and stock - you know, when you're going slow enough that the slipper clutch won't work and the rear locks up. Got to the point where I was constantly covering the clutch lever like on a two-stroke.

Thanks, not too worried about it now, but I do appreciate it. I'll give it a bit more saddle time before I worry too much about it. I'd still prefer a flawless bike, but I'll take the good with the bad!

This is a known issue with the 1199's. I'm assuming it's no different with the 1299's.

I had quite a few stalls at idle and even a couple at less than 15mph speeds approaching a stop. Luckily, it was never around a corner. Because of this, I have made it a point to pull the clutch in around every damn corner, slow or fast. My bike hasn't stalled since the first service at 600 miles but still. I've had to change the way I do things on a motorcycle because of this bike.

Major products liability issue...I want to resolve it to avoid stalling in the corners and stalling in general.

My 14 1199 Base stalled on me twice in the first 500 miles, but hasn't since. I have 2300 miles now.

Mine has stalled on me a few times. Approaching stoplights when I put it nuetural, and when I was in downtown indy for the motogp festivities and it was getting to hot when I was trying to find a parking spot. I'm definitely not worried about a corner stall. I'm just buying a cbr for city riding and not putting it in nuetural til I come to a complete stop.
