Is there someone here who has the Termignoni slip ons on their V4 that has measured the static dB level? Looking for measurement at 5500 rpm. I'm considering these slip ons for my bike, but my local track has a static noise limit of 102 or 103 dB.

At what distance and angle do they measure it at?

I can try to help but all I have is an iPhone app for sound level measurements.

I would appreciate it nonetheless. May not be completely accurate, but it's better than nothing :)

As Rick stated, it's at a 45° angle, but at this track I believe it's at 0.5 meters back and the same above ground level. If you wouldn't mind, I would appreciate it greatly if you could measure at both 0.5 m and 1 m back from the exhaust

I just put my iPhone on an upside down 5 gallon bucket which was placed at about a 45 degree angle to the rear of the bike, about 1m away. The right side read at 104db and the left was 107db at roughly 5500RPM. This was without the DB killers.

Excellent! Thank you very much. They usually just measure on the right hand side of the bike, so with db-killers in I'm hoping it should pass the test. Btw, did you check inside your garage or outdoors?

Outdoors. I'd think with DB killers you would be good for sure. With them the bike is noticeably quieter.

I'd think a SPL meter would be able to lock the highest value, considering my phone app has that functionality.

I put my Db killers back in after running the bike a bit around the neighborhood with them out. Seriously ....... loud without them in. Probably north of 130db?

I put mine back in too. I live in a quiet neighborhood, not Thunderhill.

With ear plugs no dB killers is fine. Without its a little much for sure.
