SIDE NOTE - is anyone's Ohlin's damper developing a small black mark from the brake resevoir bottom clip?

Nope, clears by a few mm. Why not just rotate the clip round, so the grips are out of harms way?

On initial handover, I gave mine to once over and noticed that the hose clip looked like it would just hit the damper. On noting this, I did as Xbox suggested and rotated the clip around out of harms way.
