my bike is brand new 2012 1199s w/o abs today was my first ride I pull out of my drive way and come the first left turn the bike is very hard two turn what the ffffffff- I check the streering damper its ok the bike is very dangerous I have just done 8 km I am very sad i am no dick i have sport bike since 1989 ist my third duke .the dealer will pick up the bike monday .any body have any idea and sorry for my english tank you .

It will be something simple I'm sure like the cable from the suspension getting caught some where.
Perhaps it could be the plastic mud shield that sits below the triple clamp touching the fork!

If the steering damper is not to blame it would have to be something like this I would think. Worst case scenario it could be the steering head bearings, perhaps a Friday bike and someone was in a hurry to get to the pub.

I hope you get it sorted quickly mate so you can enjoy the best superbike on the planet. :D

The dealer would have had to at least ridden it around the block... Weird one. Probably is simple. How's the turning to the right or is it just as bad?

The right side is the same thing. I both the bike in december the dealer bring me the bike in january equal winter and snow.but i will check the wiring from de fork and the mud shield tomorow morning.

Not sure if i type this correctly,

Check the little bolts that are on the yoke (is this the correct word?).
The ones that limit how far you can move the fork to the left and right.
Perhaps they have adjusted them to far in and you cant get maximum steering movement, to either left and right.

apparantly they changed the fairing internal mudflap by adding some curve to them. so they no longer catch the other flap, blocking the steering..

could very well be that !

good luck

i find the problem tire pressure at 5psi wtf the valve was loose when I check the tire at first glance it was ok but when I touch it with my hands ..... tomorow road test thank you.
