Hi friends,
I bought my first Ducati a 2022 SFV4S yesterday, and haven’t taken delivery yet. After reading the owners manual, and looking at photos I took of my bike I realize the tires it’s rolling on are some variant of Pirelli Super Corsa, not Diablo Rosso II.
I’m confused because absolutely everywhere in the manual they refer to Diablo Rosso II. They even go as far as mentioning reduced performance of the various traction controls this bike has if a different tire is used. Any idea what gives?
Secondly, I’m curious about tire life. I’m coming from an MT-10 which absolutely shreds the Bridgestone Battalax S22 tires I run on it. I usually get about 2,000 spirited miles of riding on the rears. What types of rear tire longevity have you seen with the Super Corsa or Diablo Rosso II for this bike or a Panigale V4 which I imagine must be similar?
Thanks for reading!
