Hi all,
I just wonder how long does it take to convert street legal pani to track and reverse? Level of difficulty? I have only one bike I am thinking for taking it to the track. Thanks.

When I do track days (and I've done 12 in the last 10 months) I ride by bike to the track. Usually all I have to do to pass tech is tape up my lights and mirrors.

(On my Triumph Street Triple R I have bar end mirrors so I just take them off. On the Panigale I find it easier to tape the antlers--plus it gives me a place to put the tech inspection sticker.)

5-10 minutes max time for me.

Of course I also drop the cold pressure in the tires.

That's it.

10 minutes at the most. Bar-end mirrors, removed in 30s, taping up the taillight, removing license plate, unplugging headlights and done.

Our trackday organizers don't require taped headlights anymore if the lens is Lexan.

All,
The objective is be able to ride the bike to the track and convert it to "track-able" then convert back to ride home. If it is less than half an hour I consider doing it. Thanks.

I do it in under 10 min. Taking the mirrors off. Use zip ties in those holes. Take tag off. Tape the lights. I use duct tape red color you can buy it from Walmart. I don't even take the fuses out. Nothing happens to the lights it come off very easily.

Wow you guys are fast. I put my bike on the trailer. Doing njmp on Sunday. Prep for me is about 3 hrs. Taping up pani alone takes about 45 mins. I use red vinyl duct tape. Sticks well and peels off easily without leaving any goo. Then there is all the prep, check pressure on truck, trailer and bike, load all the tools, fuel etc, .....you know the drill.....
