that is really good....lets see how long the cops take to stop issuing fines, particually in Qld!

Great news, for all the things I loth & hate the USA for we do have some incredibly loose rules & reg's in states like MT, in my old home country of the UK they are required to have huge bill board license plates, I think all Of EU is the same.

Does anyone know when this comes into effect?

Got pulled over today for RBT and the cop started on about my FE and I said I thought the rule had been repealed and he said it hadn't been yet.

He then asked if my exhaust (Termi's) were standard as the bike was quite loud.

Luckily I happened to know one of the officers from playing football and he came over and vouched for me being an upstanding member of the community.

Cop them let me go.

don't know when but the bigger question is it retrospective....I wouldn't mind betting it's for new bikes only and maybe from the date of compliance not date of rego:rolleyes:

I haven't changed any of my bikes yet as we have coppers here (Brisbane)that love that ....!

Forgot to add, I also got asked for my licence.

Funny thing, I also got pulled over yesterday for a random RBT, long weekend here so cops are everywhere. Didn't get asked for licence, six cops came over to the bike and all commented and how good the bike looks. Not one mention of rear guards, Termi's or anything else.

Just shows how subjective "law enforcement" can be.
