I went through 3 sets of v3's last year, mainly road riding (about 7500 miles) but with 2 track days as well.
I will say when I first switched to the v3, I didn't change anything else on the bike, and it felt AMAZING. I ride pretty aggressively on very well known (to me) mountain roads. The difference was immediately noticeable. Bike fell into turns easier, but most important, it kept a tight line on the exit of corners with throttle applied. With the track days I am a mid A group rider, and the v3's were able to give me that much more confidence on the bike, and I could push that little bit harder.
The chain will rub on the side of the tire if you don't keep up on making sure the chain is tight.
Overall I love the sc v3's, but they just don't last long enough for me for how much street riding I do. Even the v2's last longer but they don't come in the 200/60 size unfortunately.
I just mounted a set of Rosso 3's in 200/55 and raised the rear by 10mm to simulate the ride height of the 200/60. So far, it feels great but I haven't gotten to do my favorite mountain roads yet due to weather. I have scrubbed off most of the chicken strips though, and the handling does feel pretty close the v3's so far.
