Hey guys, just wanted to show you it can be done. Put this bad boy on today. Looks awsome, sounds even better. Put the sprint P08 filter on and pluged the flapper, together with the exhaust the most imediate effect noted was the markedly improved throtle response and even harder kick after 4k, not that this bike needs it :D. The quality of the arka is really nice. Welds are perfect, titanium is sweet and a drastic weight saver. The stock cans are unbelivably heavy. Got the cans at 1/3 the price of the dealership.

During the install i noted that it wasnt just a regular slip on job, you do need to remove the rear header to make it fit. I Didnt touch the front header. There is enough slack and giveway from the pipes to make it fit. I have to thank one of the Mods on this fourm PHIL. He offered to mod the y pipe to make it eaiser. Looking back at it I probably should have had him cut the y pipe and remove the flapper to make this a simple slip on job, so thank you phil.

Next up is a rapid bike to improve the fuleing but honestly it pulls so hard that i am holding on for dear life and i have no problems downs low in first or second gear that its tough to justify.

Did you actually notice a difference in sound?... I was going to do the same but now am going Akra DP route...
Is this just the r slip ons and r y pipe?
Looks great.

At idle its a bit deeper sound but once throtle opens it is deffinatly louder than stock. How this passes emmisions i dont know. This set up is with stock 1299 y pipe.

Doing the same job this week so thanks for the info, ive removed all the flapper assembly and servo, also just got the headers back from ceramic coaters, black inside and chrome outside

So I have been looking in to buying the titanium headers from the Panigale R exhaust to make this a full titanium kit, did a little shopping list form ducati Omaha and it looks like to total for the headers comes out to be around 1,500. If true then the whole system ends up costing less than termi slips !!! What you guys think?? or should I chrome plate the stock pipes like skid06 did?

Get the titanium headers and get rid of the flapper valve. $1100 is not bad. By the time you ship and get them to plate it it will probably be another $300. And I bet the titanium headers will fit better and won't put as much stress on your current setup.

carnivor32, you know that you need the #louderthanakrapovic treatment for these, right? :D

So does the entire 2015 Panigale R OEM Akra system headers and all fit the 1299 engine without modification?
