Love my new ‘23 V2. But I really would like
to put a tail bag on just to have a bit of somewhere to store a few things. But this bike is a bit challenging… or im dumb… just doesnt really seem to be any good spots to
run straps for a bag. Anyone done it and have suggestions? No, i dont want a tank bag… highly dislike tank bags. Any thoughts appreciated.

Just installed a Kriega Drypack Tail bag on my '22 V4. I went with the small US-5L bag as I just wanted to somewhere to hold docs, a sweatshirt etc. They also make larger sizes but the 5L is only slightly bigger than the passenger seat. Note -The tail bags are listed as universal fit but there is an install kit sold for the Panigale that works perfectly on the SF with no modifications, worth the extra $ as you noted it is difficult to run regular straps. With the install kit there are only four small nylon loops that protrude from under the 'passenger' seat. Was concerned about damaging the paint on the tail section but have had the bag on for several hundred miles at highway+ speeds and its not moving around at all.

hey! Thank you so much for the info, i am def going to check out the Kriega bag.

Have a SFV2 with the Kriega US-30 Bag and the Panigale-Mounting Kit from Kriega. Works fantastic even with high volume packed 30litres for 3 day-rides with overnighting.
