Good question. I need that. Dainese will of course make you one in about 6 months but for me, that is just asking for a crash the first time out. I look like the Michelin man in OTR gear to get the shoulders to fit. Something altered that I do not mind destroying would be nice.
 
A lot of the WERA guys swear by Barnacle Bill. Google him, he does repairs and alterations. I had a so-so experience with him a few years back with a Alpinestars suit.
 
Check with Lizzy Leather out of Virginia. I haven't had any alterations done, but she's repaired my leathers twice already and does an awesome job.

By far the best guy out here. He can clean, repair, letter and even make new leathers. Also, a phone call with him is worth the money alone.
 
+1 for barnacle bill. I have a long torso and anytime I buy a suit, I just have it shipped to him and he sews in a patch to give me a little bit of room in the crotch. He has always been timely and his prices are reasonable. He patched up a pretty beat up suit really well after my last get-off.
 
Pilot does also. Tons of choices, reliable choices. Just chose someone close to yourself. Good luck
 
You can call Audrey (the owner) at Moto Liberty in Dallas, Texas. She will fit you with an RS Taichi. RS Taichi will do the nip/tuck for you. It is an off the rack suit, but they tailor it up for you. Sometimes, and I mean sometimes, Audrey will ship you a suit, let you try it on and you call her to discuss any needed alterations. Top of the line RS Taichi suits will take a pounding. Trust me. Audrey will tell you which suits in the RS Taichi line up are made in Japan. Expensive? Kind of but no more than a top quality Dainese. I've owned 3 fully tailor made RS Taichi suits. I don't regret a single penny I've spent so far. Moto Liberty 972-243-5995 or 1-800-214-RACE .

In My Opinion, you'd be best served by getting a Made 2 Measure (custom) Dainese suit - it will fit your body as it should - costs only ~ $500 more than msrp for stock colors (as colored by factory)

Is there a D-store in the NY area? That will take measurements?
 
I know it is other side of the pond and it is in Italy so might give you headaches to begin with, but... GIMOTO might well be my next purchase. They have a website with video guide to take measures and will produce your own design. And they have airbag in their track version.
