Termi Heat Shields in CF

Having seem them on the Alstare bike, I'm thinking of getting some of these made up ...... matt finish, obviously.

Should look good with the Tricolore black belly pan.

Apologies for starting another thread with "heat" in the title, but at least I voided the word "sprocket"

You guys should know better... Another thread... Pack it in... It's not big and its not clever... It just a slippery slope... Go to the corner sit down for an hour and think about it...

Ur as bad as my kids, just can't stop ya selves... The "heat" has effected or maybe infected you...

Be careful, or it will make u spontaneously combust just like our friend from NYC did in another thread a short while ago.... ;-)

No, I'm good - not talking about the underseat loop cover

The small aluminium triangles that fit on the cans. They are CF on the Alstare bike, similar to the Akra setup.

On a related note, have a look at the heat shield on the exhaust system in the attached picture (From BSB). This is the new heat shield that I have been referring to for some time !!! Sure look better than anything I have seen to date.

Keep at it Phil - might sink in someday - I looked back, it this really wasn't much of a "hot topic" (one of my fav Man From UNCLE episodes w/ Sonny/Cher) last Summer. Just a handful of posts saying it was hot, none that it was unbearable.

That type of thing would definitely find a way on to my bike!

Has anyone spoken to any CF manufacturers on who is thinking ahead of the game and has one of these "heat guards" in the works to replace the DP fix? I am sure someone has their hands on the plastic piece already and setting the mold for both matte and gloss CF replacement part to make millions off!

FYI - Xbox - I have paid to have molds made of the front shield for the Termis, with a UK company. They finishing up their first set for me this week - I'll let you know how the finished product turns out.

They just finished my shields - one pic below but will take a few more when I receive them. They are "glossy" but do not look overly so.

I've asked them to provide a quote for further units (cost me 195GBP to have the molds made and the first set). I suspect, we would be looking at ~ 80 to 90 GB pounds including shipping but will confirm when I hear back from the manufacturer.
