Hey gents,

Was just at the AMA Superbike Race in Elkhart Lake this last weekend and was a bit disappointed that I was not the only person with a 1199 there - lol. A very nice gent showed up with a 1199 S with a Termi Slip on and to everyone's surprise, my stock exhaust is (noticeably) louder... :S

Anyone run into this?

(I know the Termi Slip on is lighter, and adds power but for $2k, I want a bit more noise)

Negative...I asked. The gent just did a trackday up in Minnesota and unlike many track's, in the Midwest, we don't have nannies telling us to quite our bikes...

Very strange.

I remember some guys in the UK failing track noise tests, even with standard cans, but the Termi's always tested louder.

FWIW, my bike was def louder after the switch :)

Same here, bike is now a little louder with the termis. Sound is a bit "deeper" also as compared to the stock cans.

The Termis have dB Killers. To answer the question, you have to know whether the dB Killers are installed or not. I heard a bike with a full Termi system and it was quiet. OTOH, my bike with the silencers only, but without the dB Killers is loud.
