This caught my eye. This is just my guess based on my auto background, but it looks like termi inked a deal with mitsubishi to offer the up map through a third party app. I would guess the initial app would be a way to directly access all the Mitsubishi ecu equipped bike owners who are intimidated by the price or availability of the USB up map from Ducati, or want a few extra features. Perhaps the app is provided by Mitsubishi then tailored to whoever wants their name on it, (termi jumped on it before Ducati, or its a joint venture?) Mitsubishi might have foreseen this and planned to offer the service to everyone who pays to access their ecu's. (oem and termi) It says you may have access to additional maps (no time frame). But Mitsubishi is likely opening up their platform now that these ecu's have been around for a few years. Maybe some contract with Ducati expired. This could be a simple download feature or they could have planned on having a "pass through" feature. That would allow third party programs to upload and access off board programing and diagnosis. Technically every auto ecu has this feature by law. Getting into this feature is probably what tune boy gets by on.
