Can someone confirm that if the Termignoni headers have the 12 or 18 mm Lambda bungs? (not the oem header). Race system.

Thanks

the header is 20mm bigger than stock. 70mm vs 50mm dont know what lambda bungs means

he was asking for the threads where the )2 sensors go in. i asked my mechanic friend at ducati via FB message. let's see if he has an answer.

my first shot would be 12mm, jsut by looking at the pictures and by the fact, that they should take the same 0-5V o2 sensors like the stock system, so 12 mm...

well hopefully he got the answer he was looking for .

thanks phil i had no clue

12mm x 1.25 thread pitch. The plugs are available through J&B Cycle (search Google) for about $8 to $10 buck for 2. Washers not included unfortunately. There are other suppliers that include the sealing washers (Cu) for a total of about $20 plus shipping.

I should have introduced myself along with my question but here it goes; I own a motorcycle shop here in Orlando and own a Panigale base ABS, I used to be a big time Kawasaki fan , owned nothing but Kawasakis until one day one of my customers brought in a sick 2000 , 748 and after fixing it , I ended up buying the bike because customer was moving out of state, it was a love at first site and that is how I ended up falling in love with these not "so perfect" machines and I don't think I will ever own another inline 4 ....... My previous bike was a 2008 1098, tuned microtec ECU by me, that thing was a lot of fun....... I loved it!

Here at the shop one of my techs has a S1000RR full track bike, we work on many different bikes but very few Ducatis and the shop is incredibly busy so my intent isn't to come out here and advertise.

I am sure many central florida riders will recognize the name "CYCLE PRO" that is the name of the shop... you can visit out facebook page to see some of the photos

Recently we sent the ECUs of the Panigale and S1000RR out to get them reflashed, in the mean time I am installing Termi slip ons along with MWR filter with adjustable plate (Thanks to BellissiMoto ) . I also have RapidBike Race system along with mytuning wide band system but they come with 18 mm bungs and factory pipes have 12 mm, the solution was to shave those off and reweld 18mm bungs as I don't want ot use adaptors to move the O2 sensors away.

The Panigale was on dyno 2 weeks ago and pushing 169 hp (SAE) at the rear wheel just with MWR filter. At first I will not install the RapidBike system just to see how the AFR and power/torque curve is going to look, as we don't like to add to many variations to tuning in general because I wanna see what is working what is not so we can actually start offering this to our customers.... We also used to be a Dynojet certified tuning center for almost 3 years but due to building restrictions, we were gently forced to sell our Dyno machine....

I love the Panigale, it is an amazing machine but I feel that I can make it smoother and better running bike.

That is the story .......
