Termignoni High Pipe install for 2019 Ducati V4-S.

Well - I finished up this past weekend.

Overall the project was easy in terms of technical challenges just time consuming. The nuts that hold the rear header on were very difficult to remove, You def need a swivel head and patience so you don't round off the nut edges.

I was not able to use the supplied front exhaust manifolds and header pipe because low and behold Termignoni did not weld any heat shield mounting brackets on the exhaust manifolds. . Of course it was not until after I got everything removed from the front and out of the way (oil cooler, drained radiator & removed hoses, removed radiator fans) so that I could remove the heat shield did I discover I could not mount the heat shield on the manifolds supplied in the kit. I do 'get it' - this is supposed to be a race system. Termignoni knows this and supplies a header pipe in the package that allows you to connect the new exhaust system to the existing header pipe so I used that.

The bike sounds great and to be honest I do not think it's much louder than the Termignoni slip-ons (db killers removed) I removed but the 'bark' is def sharper.

The new exhaust system fit together perfectly and I heat wrapped all that I could because of the heat from the pipes on my inner thighs.
I would recommend the system to anyone if you like the look of high pipes.
I had to give up my nice heat shield on the back of the engine, but I think they heat wrap will suffice.
Now that this is done, I need to buy a nice bellypan to cover up the huge empty area vacated by the old mufflers.
Hopefully someone can benefit in some small way from my observations and experience.
Thus far I have not seen a CF bellypan made specifically for what I want, but I may be able to repurpose a monster cf bellypan and use the last 3/4's of it with some custom mounts and dzus fasteners to the existing bellypan - we shall see.
various pics fom the install - the CF panel supplied by Termignoni for the right side got really hot on sat when I started the bike so I'll had to put some heat shield on the back of it and also wrap the line to the rear brake cyilnder since it's close to the pipes. small stuff - but fun.

Sadly I can't ride for the next three weeks due to knee surgery last week so I'm stuck tinkering

Beautiful bike and the exhaust looks awesome, plus I like the exhaust wrap! I think you may have an issue with that rear bend so close to the tail fairing but hopefully it works fine for you.

I was thinking similarly but the cans were not very hot to the touch after running for about 15 minutes so burn the heat wrap in - time will tell right? I do like the way it looks. It's amazing to me they offer any decibal decrease at all since they're so small... LOL

a few more pics - as much as it's a pain to do these things it really gave me an opportunity to check out the intricacy of the front end of this bike and all the electronics. You develop a real appreciation for the sophisitation of the bike and all the engineering that has gone into it.

The best part is that I had no left over nuts, washers or bolts!

and thank god I have an impact gun - I could not imagine removing that rear wheel nut with a breaker bar
