The Eagle has landed! I mean I am back home on leave. I immediately had the Dragon Lady's new billet rear sets and pillion pegs installed. It may be from China, but looks and works fabulously. :D

green?????
first I was shocked, but then had a look at the pics. This looks great! The only thing I would change: replace the screws with INOX (and maybe clean/turn/polish them).

My friend the Dragon Lady is an ongoing project and she will still get loads of things. She will still get a few more bits of green and then the green pegs will finally make complete sense. That will come once she gets her final paint job (she currently wears a sticker kit). The screws will get their turn too... :D

Thats a very nice looking bike even though I have seen it many time before on here, I'm not sure about green but better we all have differing tastes, the sets look pretty good I am not sure if there is any visual or performance gain forking out for the DP or other hellish priced one!

The Dragon Lady is a Tricolore so green is part of her natural colour scheme. All will make sense and tie in once she has been completed. :D

You muste be an artis to understand what you have done to this bike or its a salvage bike that you put back together with the cheapess used parts you could find...

i dont understand.... why???

I got fed up with expensive plastic and steel so I smacked her with cheap carbon fibre and titanium with a good smattering of billet aluminium do you mind. Ooops I forgot to mention the real cheapskate SICOM composite disks. I am also going to be the lowest of the low by fitting more magnesium parts so there!

She is a Tricolore and therefore green is inevitable. I am turning her into a Tricolore Nera Superleggera. Everything will make sense and integrate once she receives her paint job, the sticker kit will come off... I was not aware that she had matte bits?
Apology accepted.

Thanks!!! looking forword to see the end result!!!!

In keeping with the name/theme you're putting together: is the red/white nose fairing the dragon's head, and the green rearsets the talons?

Perhaps then your new paint job will feature scales of some sort?

... Or am I just completely over-thinking this one?

I like the way you are thinking, but perhaps patience is a virtue that should be exercised here ;)
