Spent a day last September at the fall US Desmo rally following an 850 Commando around for a few hundred miles. Was riding up as close as I could just to listen to it when the rider would roll on the throttle. British parallel twins will bring a smile to your face when you hear 'em under throttle. And that Norton made me smile all day long.
My first M/C was a '65 BSA 650 Lightning. Just partial to twins, I suppose (Italian and British).
