Thinking about changing bike colors

Fairings are easy enough to take off and have painted.
I was thinking about a tank cover instead of actually pulling the tank.
Can you tell a tank cover is on? I'm thinking you could tell around the gas cap area?

Tank cover will look like poop, the tank is easy to remove, do it right brother, it’s a Ducati not a Honda stunt bike.

Before you sand the tank....look into wrapping it.

Nah if I'm gonna pull it ill just bust the nut to paint it
