This Is What Is Going To Happen If Ebola Comes To America

Would it kill you to stick with motorcycle related topics, and not bring made-up world crises and politics here? We have CNN and Fox for that. We come here to talk motorcycles, and common interests. I promise not to complain further, just asking.

CNN and FOX are there to misinform you..

would it kill you to not open my threads in the NON-MOTORCYCLE LOUNGE ¿ ¿ ¿

Did you get out on the wrong side of the bed today?
You could always choose to ignore it if it's a problem for you;)
Alternately post something of your own here:)

Some of the things posted here are quite interesting to me personally, even though they're not necessarily "common interests" that one would be willing to actually participate in, whether one subscribes to the subject matter and or the way it's presented or not.
Besides, I don't have access to Fox or CNN, so it's ok for me to see what's going on in the world through these threads.

Anyway it's in the lounge area.
And to my warped way of thinking, it's totally appropriate for someone to share something here that they can't share with the rest of the forum in any other section, out of respect for the forum.

Perhaps you could lobby the moderators to have the Lounge area removed from the forum if it's become too problematic:eek:
You old grump:rolleyes:

Cheers:)

i just asked him not to, totally appropriate as well, no? and by the fact I got thanks, he didn't, plus no one is adding to his discussion, most agree.

On the other hand, he PM'd me, and specifically told me NOT to respond to his threads. So like his threads or shut up? I don't think so lol!

I PM'ed you to reinforce the point that you look increasingly inane commenting in my non-mc threads about how YOU want to keep it all about mc's -- you look STUPID and like a CONTROL FREAK and yet you have the option of simply ignoring the entire LOUNGE which is NON-MC related.

r u that obtuse to still not get it by now?

REPEAT: this mothrfukn section of the forum is NON-MC related and OFF-TOPIC as per explicit title of said section.

GROW A BRAIN DUDE...

EDIT 2: if u dont like the thread and have constructive disagreement then by all means....

EDIT 3:

I also really don't think there's anything to be gained by being overly abrasive Vast;)

Chill out.
There's more than enough negativity to go around on this forum without further adding to it.
IMO:)

I'm not entirely certain that it's "totally" appropriate.
As I said before. It's in the Lounge section and I think it's the proper use of this section.

Perhaps there's some confusion caused by the labelling of this section?
It may be better if it were named the "Off Topic Lounge section" in order for Vast to be "totally" justified in his position?

It's certainly food for thought.
And I don't recall any forum rules that specifically state that "thou shalt not post anything on this forum what so ever, unless it's strictly related to motorcycles and or the 1199 Panigale." when we initially sign up and agree to the rules.

So in Vast's defence, it's logical to assume that the lounge section is for any subject matter that's not necessarily related to motorcycles and or the 1199 Panigale.

As I've said before, one could always show some restraint and ignore his topics if one chooses for the sake of simplicity.

Perhaps this matter could be referred to the moderators for further clarification/guidance, and or a relabeling of this section to the "Off Topic lounge" in order to facilitate some other allowable discourse on other subjects which are not related to motorcycles.

Just for the sake of diversity on the forum of course;)
It happens seamlessly on other forums as well, without protestation from potentially unhappy members.
So I don't see why it can't work on this forum as well:confused:

Shall we flag this issue as a teething problem for this great forum?
And put it down to the fact that it's time has come?

As I believe I've already made clear my position on the matter.
I will leave it open for reasoned and respectful discussion going forward:)

Cheers:)

729 deaths and 1323 cases primarily in countries where families hand-wash the corpses of their dead as custom. Seems to me if it were so easy to spread outside of that scenario, whole cities would be wiped out already. I see an Ebola outbreak in the US on the same level of likelihood as mass-impregnation by those face-suckers from "Aliens."

The doctors that got sick were decontaminating other doctors. Apparently that's up there with hand-washing the dead.

This ZH article reminds me of JW Rawles flipping the .... out on survivalblog about swine flu back in the day "OMG it cannot be contained! Mexico is a giant ghost-town. The grid is going down! Repent!"

I don't mind ppl posting whatever sorta crazy things they like in OT. Free country. Just don't be surprised when people call out a trend in your posting habits.

Brad - you missed my point completely. I never said he couldn't do anything. I just asked him not to post these rantings that have nothing to do with anything remotely related to bikes, and just using this forum as a podium to rant his political views. That statement was "my" view. He can ignore me and continue to post them, his right, fine with me. But instead, be attacked me, called me all sorts of names (in PMs), told me (not ask) to read/post on his threads. I have blocked him, what he should do to me if he is that pissed.

The biggest problems with virus's is that they, are always mutating.

I read that Ebola came be in a man's sperm for 2+ months after being treated and showing no symptoms.

If this is ever weaponized, look out world!

Well, seems like the words on the Georgia Guidestones become truth soon

Exactly. Virus's are no joke. If we can kill this as easy as the above posters think, that's great. But underestimating it, is foolish.

Polio is still around. And we have plenty of vaccine for that.

Oh, and the weaponized stuff, is already far worse than Ebola.
