ThunderHill West

So sick! Thunderhill was my #2 favorite track, now I think it's safe to say it's 1.

I'll miss the joy of being able to take turn 8 as flat out as possible....turn 9 will see a lot of accidents from people who need to recalibrate. Moving out to the left and then cutting right could result in some serious incidents from those who pass mistakenly forgetting which config they're running.

Also, that back straight has zero runoff. Track/Wall/Ouch.

Thanks for posting.

I was there this past weekend, doing the whole track. The west side is fun, a lot like Sears point, so more fun for the smaller bikes. 20 min sessions would mean you do 4 laps, maybe 5 if you're out there first.

Can't wait to hit it. Thill is already my favorite track for the Pani and HP4. I agree with Anti, 6,7, and 8 were the money corners for bikes like ours to pick up time.

The two sections are dramatically different in character. While the novelty of 5 miles is cool, I think running the tracks separately might have more value, and take away the awkward transition turns that will likely be accident prone places.
