Tightails Aluminum Subframe

Am I correct in that these do allow for street use on some models that this company makes? I'm looking to put one one my street 1299s for track and street use.

I have the Motoholders. Install was ok except for the rear tail tray install. I had to do some modification to the triangular mount to get it to fit nicely (for road use and not race). The passenger seat/cover cable release bracket on the rear tail tray would not fit snuggly to the triangular bracket without modification to the bracket. It seems the Tightails may not have that issue just from a cursory look at the rear bracket points. Good luck.

Not a fan of Motoholders. The stuff is poorly made. Its fine for a track bike but your going to have to "manipulate" it to get it to fit right. The fairing holders have no consistency in construction. I have fairing holders from them that have welds in different spots, welds that were not finished, dash brackets that are welded crooked and the ears always need a slight manual bending to fit. They cant possible use a jig to build these things. Its made to "bare bones" hold bodywork and a seat in place until you wad up the bike then you just bend it back in shape which is what you had to do out of the box in the first place.
