Tire Warmers

Hi all,

Can someone please recommend some good quality (and reasonably priced) tire warmers for track days?

I use MotoD tire warmers.. Work perfectly and not expensive..

+1 for moto D I had a set for 2 years they were fine.. and they stand behind their product... other than that I run nothing but chickenhawk and woodcraft now loll

I like the quality of Chicken Hawk Racing tire warmers. You can get them at a great price from John at South Central Race Center. The place to get your Pirelli tires as well.

i use chicken hawks, the quality is very good.

As others have mentioned Moto D seems to be doing a decent job in making them right now and the price is good.

+2 for motoD. Warranty crushes chicken hawk as well!

I bought a set of sports bike tyre warmers and they did not heat the tyre evenly. Thought it might have been the 2kva generator so hooked straight to240v still with no joy. Sent them back and was told quite bluntly there was nothing wrong. Had one of the New Zealand national riders try them and he concurred with me. Rang the supplier again and was basically told there was nothing he was goin to do about it. These were the mid range model

Once upon a time a member here on this forum came up with one of the best / funniest statements I still use to this day. I cannot recall exactly who it was but he said "Gunny Fitz has more contacts than Bausch & Lomb!" which truly made me LOL- and perhaps is even true if I group ALL of them together and not just the special Bike & Ducati connections too!

I started using John for my tire source MANY years ago when I was racing my SV650 (Now Phil the Moderator's winning racebike!) John gave me such killer deals that I spread this info to everyone I knew, and soon enough I believe he ended up sponsoring Leon as well. He also carries the entire line of Chicken Hawk Warmers which I used for YEARS without failure, and IMHO are top of the line!!
