Hey guys just did my first track day and wanted to know what size tyre in front & rear do you run? I have 2015 panigale R.. the sp rear is 190 but are some of you running 200? What different characristics do you get? Also would I have to adjust my TC or ABS?

Changing from a 200/55 to a 190/55 decreases the ride height of the bike by 5.5mm. and a 1.7% decrease in rolling circumference. With a 190 you may tip in slightly better but you loose some contact patch.
Some guys use the 190 Q3 rear as it's closer in diameter to the pirelli 200 but otherwise use a 200.
Use your Tire calibration tool on your bike and from there just dial down/up the TC etc as you see fit.
Also the stock rear on your R should have been a 200??
Stock size is 200/55 pirelli, which might be different from 200/55 q3 (can't remember how different).
Based on my experience using slicks 200/60,which i like even more than 200/55 since it gives me higher rear, quicker tip in, and better edge grip, i don't think i would like 190/55.
Also ,I'm guessing taller tyre would give better swingarm angle and simulate that 4mm lower swingarm pivot for better grip out of corners.

I run 200/60 Slicks on the 1299S, RSV4 and R6.
The 675R gets a 180/60 Slick.
Just keep in mind that not all "200" or 190" or "180" tires are created equally. More times than not, that number designation is more for marketing purposes than anything else. You need to check out the specs and look at the actual dimensions of the tire.

What he said! I just had the same conversation yesterday with an AFM racer and he said to stick with the 200/55 as they are perfect for power/ratio of the bike.
