When I swapped out my wheels for the Marchesini mags, I discovered they aren't made specifically for the Pani, so they come with spacers and longer (10mm) rotor bolts. Therefore I had to get new ones to replace my smaller Ti ones. I paid $89.90 for the NK Component 10 bolts. This time I went to the UK, Competition Fasteners. They were only $4.24 ea, less than half. Both are grade 5.

The bolts that came with the wheels are 15gms, the Tis are 10gms, so a savings of 50gms. Along with my alloy axle and Ti axel nuts (CNC $94.95), it adds up.

Last year I purchased/installed from Bellissimoto the hub flange/nuts and the rear axle nuts, all CNC.

And when you put them on you realized you gained substantial horsepower and much faster turn-in from the reduced unsprung weight of the rotor bolts, right ? :)

I know - it is more of a thing with me. I did Titanium/alloys all over my road bikes in the 70s (way before CF lol). But if you do all the lightweight fasteners/axles, the Shorai, it makes a difference - not one I or anyone else would notice, but just knowing it is lighter is why. The wheels on the other hand, omg big difference.

yes I know. Just giving you a hard time. Everything counts. Ironically its one of the discussions I had earlier on. I think you save more weight going to sicom rotors from stock rotors than going from aluminum wheels to CF/mag wheels. . . But since sicom rotors aren't "sexy" - most people opt for changing out the wheels rather than doing the rotors. . .

I looked into those, besides being insane expensive ($4K+), I don't care for the look, and there are much better rotors and calipars for less money that actually stop better. So I am stopping here. I am not doing the $500 engine kit and replacing all those, just rotating mass.
