The Panigale is away having evotech rad covers and bike tracker fitted. The tracker sounds very trick. I often ride alone not hanging around. This tracker links to my mobile and calls for assistance if the bike drops below ascertain angle ie hits the deck! Also phones me if it moves from my garage , there is an annual fee of course. Today's technology is mind blowing eh.,

I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that about the same time I bought my bike, Ducati UK were putting this on for free with a years subscription chucked in as well. I think it was part of a finance deal. I didn't get it as I was exporting the bike straight away and it doesn't work in Europe. Happy to be corrected though, if you ask you never know, you might get it chucked in for nowt!!
Did you get your rear wheel nut (Bling) sorted? Ebay.de had a red nut advertised for 1 euro (approx. 75p)

Had the bike for 2 months now so too late plus it was ex demonstrator.
My tec says he is not putting the nut on as it needs to be stainless steel or titanium, the one I ordered is going to be no good. Yu reminded me the parcel arrived 2 days ago and I have forgotten abt it. Will have a look at it tomorrow and eBay it or something!

Bearing in mind the rear axle nut has a such a high torque setting (230Nm), entrusting that kind of loading to an aluminium nut, is likely to prove a very bad idea. IMHO If you must change it, then go with a titanium one for a cosmetic improvement, else leave the stock one on.

Yep same torque as my Multi and boy rear tyre changes always a pain to get wheel off!

Just loved the red nut, but no I have given myself a telling off for spending too much on unnecessary tranklements.

I've got a tracker fitted and I'm very impressed with it. If the bike moves, the battery gets low, the bike is leaving the country etc then they tell you. With a smartphone you can always ping the unit and get it's exact location up on a map.

I think the 2 best systems a while ago were BikeTrac and TrakKING. BikeTrac had slightly more features but went with TrakKING, didn't want there to be recorded evidence of each ride. I think it's a matter of time before someone has a crash and the authorities prosecute based on everything the GPS has recorded.

I have used alu nuts on the rear fot the last 3 years on my racebikes - no issues sofar. They have been on and off 100 times or so.

Last year, torque have been reduced to 180 Nm, still works fine:D

I think it's Biketrac being fitted. My house has the burglar alarm system in the garage too. But, as an ex police officer I know if they want it that bad they will find a way

For the AXLE nut you want Stainless Steel or Titanium only. Top of the range (IMHO) is Pro-Bolt (UK), which I highly recommend and I have on my 1199 S Tric (Titanium).

If you use Titanium nuts 'n' bolts make sure you apply Anti-sieze.

One other thing .. for titanium bolts you don't need locktite AND anti-sieze, just anti-sieze.
