Anyone tried to get insurance for the Tricolore? I have tried a few with no luck and even Ducati could not quote me and are going to get back to me.

Just checked again with my State Farm agent, still not in their system. I was asking about 2009 Aprilia RS125 and it is in their system despite being 'off road use only'.

Chris

I just talked to my Gieco Agent and got quoted for $705 for 1 year. 29 years old 1 year motorcycle endorsement and clean record. Hope this helps.

this sounds good, premiums? which coverage?

i had ~500/yr. on my tuono (100/300/100) ... that seemed pretty high to me..

thanks

I hate these stupid insurance threads. You guys realize that there are hundreds of different factors for the price you pay right?

Where you live, how old you are, your driving record, previous claims, how much coverage you want, etc etc.

Who's a clever boy????

The reason for the question was to get a general idea and possibilities on who to call for a quote as here in Scotland (UK) I'm not having very much luck on companies willing to quote on this bike........if you hate the thread go look elsewhere!!!

Wow Nice Quotes, But In New York City for full Coverage On this Bike is Around 3k and up.. (Ducat Panigale i2012 1199 S Tri).

I was quoted $1850. Does that mean anything to anyone? Nope, the number changes for everyone. Were we supposed to guess that you were in Scotland?

I tried bikeinsurer comparison website, much better quotes - I would try there neebs. Havent spoken to them so will need to wait and see the mora when i phone them.

Hi mate, not sure if i tried bike insurer, I'm waiting on a quote coming back for a multi vehicle policy for my vans, car and two bikes, hopefully it will be relatively reasonable, i use the van everyday, the car, well thats rarely out, dry days, the R1 will get used most and the 1199 Tri will probably be a show piece, hopefully i get something sorted, was quoted 2k for the R1 and the due on the same policy, way to steep!!! if i can't get something reasonable i will cancel my order especially with the bike not possibly arriving until the end of June.
