Having a conversation with a friend this morning over breakfast. Do you agree with the following statement:

All motorcycles are tribal, and no tribe is more self-regarding than the Ducatista.

Many motorcyclists are tribal in a sense. We all like to belong to a community that share's our passions in life.

Saying that Ducatisita are the most self regarding is an admission of not understanding Ducatista and Ducati motorcycles.

Looking in from the outside I can see how one may come to that conclusion, but the reality is that Ducati owners are as diverse as any group with some of the nicest people I've ever met.

I'm impressed with the quality of folks I have met since I joined out local Ducati forum. I like the diversity when it comes to age, gender, education, professional background, ethnicity and tolerance.

When you purchase a Ducati you also buy a story, championship winning bike, great service, great quality, and a community of friends that no other company can over. This is one of the big reasons why i am switching over to the RED TIDE. Dont get me wrong i have owned a suzuki and a yamaha both great bikes, but they will never have the customer appreciation and quality like we do for our ducs.

My choice of residence implies 4 months of snow. I've never met a group of people as tribal as sledheads. My Cat dealer will not allow another brand on the premises! You get stuck on the trail and only cat-people will stop to help.

Ducatisti look like philanthropists in comparison
