TuneBoy reseting oil service light on 1299, yet again

As discussed before the reset oil service light feature of TuneBoy didn't work on a 1299. Yesterday I decided to load up the dyne tune trim on my bike and while I was at it decided to try again. Same result, but then I clicked the reset desmo option, and low and behold the oil service light went out.

Thank-you for sharing- much appreciated! I just purchased a new 1299s and prefer to do my own maintenance. I have been thinking as to how to reset the maintenance reminder and your message is very timely. (My father farmed, and we did all of our own wrenching/maintenance "back in the day" to save USD along with ensuring the job was done properly). All the best.
