Probably not the bast place for this if not please let me know and I'l move it, anyhow are there any tyre guru's here how do I stop this??? its on my 675 rear tyre Pirelli slick SC2 one track day old, it was about 30 degrees out the motor is stock I have these on my 1199 and they dont look like this after three trackdays???
The rear shock is K-Tec so are the front internals BST wheels the bike is light...my buddy following said I was leaving black lines out of the turns, the tyre was great on the Saturday morning but started this in the afternoon??? pressures were at 31 front and 26 rear?? the Saturday track configuration was reversed for the Sunday, the front tyre is an SC1 and looks perfect no shredding or tearing smooth and evenly worn.
We did alter the rear preload a few weeks ago at Calabogie Pro 6 set the sag but really turned up the pre-load..any ideas tips and advice would be great, I could not really get on it on sunday as I do not trust the back end??? like i said the front end is fantastic!!! thanks Colin.
