Hey all .. have any of you experienced this noise when turning on the ignition?

There is always some delay before it happens and it sounds like some valves/plunger toggling. Video didn't capture it perfectly but close enough. Runs great, haven't experience any issues. Just wondering if this is something I should dig into further.

If you’re talking about the noise at the end of the video, it sounds like the exhaust valve is preforming a self-check. The fuel pump can be heard as soon as you turn the key.

Yes the noise at the very end. I wasn't aware the exhaust valve did this during startup. I've never heard this on any of my other bikes before.

I fully admit it's a guess. You could always take off the lower fairings and watch it to confirm that's what it is. You might not even have to take them off to see the exhaust valve.

From a 899 video, but can you see this on your bike with the lowers on?

Thanks for the input ... it definitely sounds like it is coming from below the fuel tank. I'll remove fairings tonight, need to do an oil change anyways, and see if I can localize it any further.
