Sometimes I think some miss the fact that we pay far more for healthcare then the rest of the developed world for worse outcomes. People have been bringing drugs in from Canada for years (don't start). We, as US citizens pay for drug development for the whole world. If we had any leader with balls or the lack of being driven by greed the government could just go to big pharma and tell them that we will not allow any government agency to pay more for any drug than the average price of that drug by the G7 members. And all insurance companies will reimburse for any drug approved for use in the US regardless of where it was sourced. Or as I like to refer to it, grabbing big pharma by the cojones.
