Past R models have had electronic suspension WSBK teams don't run what comes out the box

That's correct. They have an allowance for suspension and brakes (can't remember the limits but it's like $10k for the forks and $6500 for rear shock or something along those lines) that's outside of the homologation requirement for the 500 road going bikes.

Ok i got Panigale R and all which i osted here with first akrapovic on it but i love this one buuuuuuut can these wings be deattached does anyone know?

They serve the purpose but for the road looks better without :)

Looks like the race bike. Has the fork telemetry sensors and also the big alloy
lump under the seat.

Yeah I saw the link to the website and noticed the travel sensor on the fork. Disappointing. Looks much better in black. Slimming and all. :D

Well ....! Not 2 weeks have passed since I’ve taken delivery of Mubarak speciale and I can no longer brag this bike is the closest thing to a MotoGP bike

Seriously now, really drooling over that V4 R. Already contemplating in thought, how to justify this bike next to the Speciale as a track only bike. If only the wifey know...

I would like to know as well. I can tell you that if they don't come off, I am 100% out on this bike. If they do, there's a possibility. But man, those winglets are hideous.

I knew they wouldn't screw around with it. An entire bike designed and engineered to beat one single rider. Let's see how KRT responds.

I was watching very closely. They're screwed on, so I'm sure they can be removed and someone will come up with block-off plates.

Regardless of appearance, I'd personally keep them on. They're there for function, not to look sexy.

Hell yeah it can be detached, when u remove the street plastics & put permanent track plastics on to keep it on the track. There us no way to spend that much money & have that much bike to keep it as a street bike.

Wonder if the akrapovic system comes with the bike.

That would be nice, but I bet it's $5000+....

Hell, I still haven't done the ABS/DTC Evo software upgrade, just on the principle of them charging $600 for a reflash update...
