Greetings fellow Panigale owners.
I am in need of some help.

So I live in South Africa, and we are barreling into summer. Today I took my V4S out for a nice sunday ride (second ride on her this week) and upon returning home after just about 200km, as I was pulling into my driveway, I started getting a low battery warning.

I shut off the bike and let it cool for quite a few hours whilst watching the motogp.

So its late afternoon and I opt to take her for a quick ride to see if the battery voltage is indeed picking up. when starting up it was at 12.7v, but whilst riding it went down to 11.4 before the bike completely died.
The bike is 11 months old and still has its OEM battery, with 10000km on the dials.

Any ideas?

Sounds like it may be time for a Li Ion battery, I replaced the OE lead acid unit as one of my first mods...or does the S come with Li Ion as standard?

That or you're having stator issues...

Maybe also check your connections from the battery, throughout the harness....grounds. I'd check the easily verifiable stuff before going to more serious issues. Failing that, have your dealer do a diagnostics test...should be covered under warranty I would think.

Take the battery out and fully charge it. If it holds charge over the next 24hrs, it's OK, and either the connection to the battery is weak, or the bike isn't charging it.
My li-ion battery failed, not covered by warranty.
You could also start the bike, and check the voltage of the battery as it's running. Should increase as it's being charged by the bike.
