Hello everybody! This forum has been very helpful and fun to read. I have always loved Ducati and currently am awaiting the delivery of my new 1199R..very EXCITED!:) Got a couple of mods I am planning to do: Rearsets, Tail Tidy and MIRRORS! I decided to go with rizomas, any comment or advice on the mirrors mods? I know the OEMs actually work but I believe they are a bit long..I am still debating if I will make the mirror change.

Re Mods, I would be looking at the following essentials:

- DP levers
- DP filler cap
- DP rearsets

"Work" is a term that's open for interpretation lol. Personally I can't see much of anything in the stock mirrors, but that's just me. I like Rizoma stuff but not there mirrors. I went with CRG Arrow bar end mirrors and the Luxmachine LED turn signal/block-off plate combo. Haven't installed them yet but looking forward to real soon. I agree with the suggestions Xbox made but would go with Rizoma Levers, Filler cap and Rearsets rather than DP. I would also add the Rizoma front and rear axle sliders and fluid reservoirs.
 
did you get a delivery date as i have yet to receive one.

Rizoma Mirrors (already own)
Rizoma Rear Slider (already own)
Rizoma Lux Grips (already own)
 
Like you I am also waiting for my R. The delivery date here in south east asia is at an estimated March 15 2013. Given my dealers track record I will add another month to that so perhaps April 15.


I am sure that US deliveries will arrive first.

It is suppose to arrive sometime in March (around the 15) . Will keep you posted! Thanks for the advice...I will definitely go with rizoma reservoirs, rear sets (still looking at DP, RIZOMAS, GILLES?), have not found anything that gets my attention in the fender eliminator area but leaning towards the DP carbon ( just to keep the carbon look in the entire tail section) with EUR led blinkers.
